This sister website to Trust The Wizards was set up in 2014 by Wizard-in-Chief, Kicker of Elves, to share a very small part of the immense back catalogue of front man of Guided By Voices, Robert Pollard, with the listening world.

As an avid collector of all things released by Bobby Pop, very much a full-time job, Kicker decided to let fate decree (OK, the iTunes randomiser) which 2 songs should be brought to our attention every day for the whole of 2014. This saw music released by Pollard-fronted bands like Boston Spaceships, Circus Devils, Airport 5, Lifeguards as well as tracks under Pollard’s own name and, of course, Guided By Voices being added to a Spotify playlist that built up over the 12 months.
Where possible the songs were linked to videos or streamed audio, but as we got deep into the netherworld of B-sides and fanclub releases these were not necessarily available. You are therefore advised to join the club and start trying to track down the original vinyl to complete your listening pleasure.

Also, if you are a creative sort, you might want to produce videos for any tracks that are currently bereft. Just let us know and we’ll post them.
In January 2019, this site was restarted with the aim of posting a Robert Pollard track a day with all the tracks being taken from those released 2015-2019.
